Dr. \u00d6zge Andi\u00e7 \u00c7ak\u0131r, kad\u0131n m\u00fchendis adaylar\u0131n\u0131n, daha \u00fcniversite y\u0131llar\u0131ndan itibaren cinsiyet e\u015fitsizli\u011finin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 hissetti\u011fini s\u00f6yleyerek \u201c\u00d6ncelikle m\u00fchendislik b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerinin baz\u0131 disiplinlerinde kad\u0131nlar hem \u00f6\u011frenci hem de \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyesi olarak daha az say\u0131dalar. Bunun ise \u00e7ocukluk d\u00f6neminde kad\u0131nlara ve erkeklere yakla\u015f\u0131m farkl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan kaynakland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyebiliriz. Toplumumuzda genellikle erkekler rasyonel, duygulardan azade, matematikte iyi olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00fcrken; kad\u0131nlar\u0131n duygusal, irrasyonel ve k\u0131r\u0131lgan olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclmeleri \u00e7ocukluk zamanlar\u0131ndan itibaren in\u015fa ediliyor\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kad\u0131nlar\u0131n m\u00fchendislik mesle\u011findeki varl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 say\u0131larla ifade eden Do\u00e7. Dr. Andi\u00e7 \u00c7ak\u0131r,&nbsp; \u201cKad\u0131nlarda&nbsp;en az bir e\u011fitim d\u00fczeyini tamamlayanlar\u0131n oran\u0131 y\u0131llar itibar\u0131yla art\u0131\u015f g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir. Bu oran 2008\u2019de y\u00fczde 72,6 iken 2018\u2019de y\u00fczde 84,5 olarak belirlendi. Bu art\u0131\u015fa ra\u011fmen, T\u00fcrk M\u00fchendis ve Mimar Odalar\u0131 Birli\u011fi\u2019ne (TMMOB)&nbsp;31 Aral\u0131k 2018 itibariyle kay\u0131tl\u0131 toplam m\u00fchendis say\u0131s\u0131 550 bini a\u015farken bunun yaln\u0131zca yakla\u015f\u0131k 125 binini kad\u0131n m\u00fchendisler olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r. Bunu oransal olarak ele alacak olursak da yakla\u015f\u0131k her d\u00f6rt \u00fcyeden biri kad\u0131nd\u0131r diyebiliriz. Bu fark; \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma durumuna, sekt\u00f6re ve \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma alan\u0131na nas\u0131l yans\u0131yor diye bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma durumu kategorisinde kad\u0131n-erkek aras\u0131 pek fark g\u00f6r\u00fclmezken sekt\u00f6r-i\u015f koluna g\u00f6re da\u011f\u0131l\u0131mda kamu sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde kad\u0131nlar\u0131n daha a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 yer ald\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fma ko\u015fullar\u0131 ve saatlerinin nispeten daha uygun olmas\u0131 sebebi ile bu durum kad\u0131nlar\u0131n tercihi gibi bir yorum yapmak m\u00fcmk\u00fcn g\u00f6r\u00fclse de istatistikleri daha derinlemesine incelemekte fayda var. \u00d6zel sekt\u00f6r a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131m\u0131na bakarsak; \u00f6zel sekt\u00f6rde \u00fccretli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan erkeklerin kad\u0131nlar\u0131n tam \u00fc\u00e7 kat\u0131 oldu\u011funu g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Ancak, kendi i\u015fini kuranlara bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda erkek-kad\u0131n oran\u0131n\u0131n yar\u0131 yar\u0131ya azald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131,&nbsp; yani \u00f6zel sekt\u00f6rde kad\u0131nlar\u0131n i\u015fe al\u0131nmak yerine kendi i\u015flerini kurarak daha rahat hareket edebildiklerini g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Di\u011fer yandan kamuda eleman se\u00e7iminde \u00f6zel sekt\u00f6rde eleman se\u00e7iminde oldu\u011fu kadar ki\u015fisel tercihlerin \u00f6n planda olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcrsek kamudaki kad\u0131n istihdam\u0131n\u0131n neden daha fazla oldu\u011funu daha iyi a\u00e7\u0131klayabiliriz\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EMERGE Projesi ile kad\u0131n m\u00fchendis adaylar\u0131 destekleniyor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kad\u0131nlar\u0131n i\u015f hayat\u0131nda daha etkin rol almas\u0131 ad\u0131na \u00e7e\u015fitli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyen Do\u00e7. Dr. Andi\u00e7 \u00c7ak\u0131r, \u201cBu olumsuz tablo i\u00e7inde elbette olumlu i\u015fler de yap\u0131lm\u0131yor de\u011fil. T\u00fcrkiye\u00b4de kad\u0131n m\u00fchendis say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131rmak ve kad\u0131nlar\u0131n i\u015f hayat\u0131nda daha etkin olmas\u0131 i\u00e7in vak\u0131flar ve topluluklar da sosyal sorumluluk projeleri ile kad\u0131nlar\u0131 m\u00fchendisli\u011fe te\u015fvik ediyor. \u00d6rne\u011fin, \u2018T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin M\u00fchendis K\u0131zlar\u0131\u201d projesi ile&nbsp;liselerde e\u011fitim g\u00f6ren k\u0131z \u00f6\u011frenciler, m\u00fchendislik mesle\u011fi ile ilgili olarak farkl\u0131 etkinliklerle bilgilendiriliyor ve m\u00fchendisli\u011fi meslek se\u00e7imlerinde daha fazla tercihleri aras\u0131na almalar\u0131 hedefleniyor. Bunun yan\u0131nda, m\u00fchendislik fak\u00fcltelerinde okuyan k\u0131z \u00f6\u011frencilere ise burs deste\u011fi, staj, e\u011fitim ve mentorluk deste\u011fi vererek, bu kad\u0131nlar\u0131n i\u015f d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda donan\u0131ml\u0131 m\u00fchendisler olarak yer bulmalar\u0131 hedefleniyor.&nbsp;Desteklenen 350\u2019yi a\u015fk\u0131n mezun kad\u0131n \u00f6\u011frenci, m\u00fchendis olarak i\u015f hayat\u0131na at\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli \u015firketlerde ve projelerde g\u00f6rev almaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bununla birlikte AB ERASMUS Plus taraf\u0131ndan 2019-2021 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda desteklenmeye hak kazanan ve Ege \u00dcniversitesinin de ortaklar\u0131 aras\u0131nda bulundu\u011fu EMERGE Projesi, giri\u015fimcilik ekosisteminden gelen destek ile kaliteli e\u011fitime eri\u015fimi art\u0131rarak m\u00fchendislik alan\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 kad\u0131n giri\u015fimcileri art\u0131rmay\u0131 ama\u00e7lamaktad\u0131r. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 aktif bir \u015fekilde y\u00fcr\u00fcten EMERGE Projesi T\u00fcrkiye ekibinde yer alan ben ve Do\u00e7. Dr. F\u0131rat Sarsar hocam\u0131z, bir\u00e7ok e\u011fitim ve konferansta giri\u015fimci, giri\u015fimci adaylar\u0131, kad\u0131n m\u00fchendisler ve m\u00fchendislik \u00f6\u011frencileriyle s\u0131k s\u0131k bir araya geliyoruz\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ki\u015finin istedi\u011fi mesle\u011fi se\u00e7ebilmesindeki \u00f6nemli i\u00e7 dinamiklerden birinin \u00f6zg\u00fcven oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyen Do\u00e7. Dr. Andi\u00e7 \u00c7ak\u0131r, \u201cTabi ki ailenin de meslek se\u00e7imindeki y\u00f6nlendirici rol\u00fc yads\u0131namaz. Bu noktada kad\u0131nlar\u0131n meslek tercihlerini yaparken kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fabilecekleri \u00f6n yarg\u0131lar\u0131 bilmeleri ve bunlara kar\u015f\u0131 ne gibi dayanaklar\u0131n da bulundu\u011funu anlayabilmeleri gerekiyor.
